The San Antonio Spurs couldn’t have been happy with their poor performance against the Knicks on Sunday and should’ve been looking to bounce back in a major way on the second night of a back-to-back in Brooklyn.
However, the Spurs couldn’t get their shots to fall and Brooklyn’s three-point barrage buried San Antonio on the final night of an eight-game road trip.
The Spurs shot just 38% in the first quarter and it didn’t get much better from there as they would finish 35-of-95 from the floor (37%).
While the Nets weren’t scorching hot from deep, they did hit 19 of their 50 three-point attempts which gave them a 45-point advantage in that category against a Spurs team that went 4-for-24 from three.
