The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Golden State Warriors, avoiding a sweep in their first round playoff series. A huge reason for the win was guard Manu Ginobili, who turned back the clock for a vintage performance.
Ginobili scored 16 points and finished the game +18. It was just the second time in NBA history that a player aged 40+ came off the bench to 10+ points in a playoff game. Oh, Manu did it the first time, too.
Not to shabby for the Spurs legend.
The win was No. 132 for Ginobili and teammate Tony Parker – setting the record for most playoff wins by a set of teammates.
