The San Antonio Spurs became storied franchise beginning in 1999, when they won their first NBA championship. This continued four more times, winning in 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2014.
To get to the NBA Finals, the Spurs needed to have successful regular season records. They did this throughout the 2000’s and into the 2010’s. Success was even found in the 1990’s, with the David Robinson-led teams that were near the top of the Western Conference.
