Kawhi Leonard’s reported trade request took over the early part of the NBA offseason Friday. It became the latest checkpoint of a saga that started before the season started, when the San Antonio Spurs star first sat out with a right quadriceps injury. He would only play nine games in the 2017-18 season.
It’s unknown what’s next, but there are plenty of opinions on this situation. That’s including ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, who spoke on an edition of The Jim Rome Show.
Wojnarowski discussed how the Spurs must “bear responsibility” for how everything transpired with Leonard.
