Six years after the San Antonio Spurs selected Adam Hanga with the No. 59 pick in the 2011 NBA draft, the Hungarian swingman may finally become an NBA player.
According to Eurohoops.net, Hanga's four-year contract with Baskonia (ACB League) is ending, and he's ready to sign with the Spurs. Should Manu Ginobili retire, there is a chance San Antonio will offer him a contract.
"My plan is to play in the NBA next season," Hanga said back in March. "I'm 27, and I think it's the right moment."
Hanga had an outstanding season with Baskonia, as he was named the EuroLeague Defensive Player of the Year while averaging 11.
