According to Shams Charania of the Vertical, free agent forward/center Joffrey Lauvergne has agreed to a deal with the San Antonio Spurs.
Details of the deal are unknown at the moment, but Project Spurs will update those details when they’re provided as well as the Spurs’ cap implications.
Lauvergne is a 25-year old 6’11 French player who can play at the power forward or center position. He’s had some familiarity in a Spurs-style system as he’s played with the French National team in the past, who run some of the Spurs’ sets. He’s also played with current Spur Tony Parker with the French National team and past Spurs Boris Diaw and Nando De Colo.
