DALLAS – Spurs coach Gregg Popovich ruled forward Joffrey Lauvergne out for Tuesday night’s game against the Mavericks.
Popovich said last week he was hopeful Lauvergne would return to the court in Dallas after missing 10 games with a sprained right ankle.
In Monday’s injury report, the Spurs listed Lauvergne as questionable, but Popovich said after shootaround at the American Airlines Center on Tuesday morning that the big Frenchman will have to wait a bit longer to get back in action.
Asked if Lauvergne would play in Wednesday’s game at Minneapolis, Popovich said, “We’ll see. Tomorrow is tomorrow.
