CLEVELAND – Tony Parker will miss the next two games as he continues to experience pain in his left foot Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said Saturday morning after the team shootaround.
Parker’s injury isn’t considered serious, but normal wear-and-tear. He’s averaging 11.5 points and 4.8 assists this season.
Dejounte Murray will start in place of Parker against the Cleveland Cavaliers and most likely on Monday when the Spurs play the Brooklyn Nets.
Murray finished with 24 points on 7-of-11 shooting in the recent win over the Denver Nuggets. The Spurs are 3-0 this season when Murray starts.
