SAN ANTONIO – The Spurs announced Wednesday they have recalled point guard Tony Parker from his rehab stint with the Austin Spurs.
Parker, who is recovering from surgery in May to repair the left quadriceps tendon he ruptured in the 2017 playoffs, participated in a few practices with the G League team during its training camp in San Antonio.
The Austin Spurs begin their season Friday.
The Spurs have given no timeline for Parker’s return to the court, although he has said he is hopeful it will happen in either November or December.
