NBA: Refs got goaltend call right

MINNEAPOLIS — The NB A’s day-after review of the last two minutes of the Spurs’ 97-96 victory in Milwaukee on Monday confirmed that all official’s calls and no calls were correct.

That includes a controversial goal-tending call against the Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo that gave LaMarcus Aldridge the game-winning basket with 21.2 seconds to go.

The call was reviewed at the time by the league’s replay center in Secausus, New Jersey. According to the officiating review released Tuesday, Antetokounmpo “makes contact with the ball after it has reached its apex and is on its downward flight toward the basket.
