The NBA today announced that San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard was named the Western Conference Player of the Week for games played Monday, Feb. 29, through Sunday, March 6. This is Leonard’s second time receiving the honor, both during the 2015-16 season. Leonard averaged 27.3 points, 10.0 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.67 steals in 37.3 minutes as the Spurs went 3-0 for the week, extending their win streak to eight games. – via Spurs PR.
