Reigning Defensive Player of the Year Kawhi Leonard garnered more points in the voting than any other player to make the NBA’s All-Defensive first team, while Tim Duncan was named second team to extend his league record with his 15th overall selection.
Leonard earned 242 points, including 116 first-team votes, while Golden State’s Draymond Green finished with 229 and 107. The rest of the first team included Memphis’ Tony Allen and DeAndre Jordan and Chris Paul of the Los Angeles Clippers.
Duncan joined New Orleans’ Anthony Davis, Chicago’s Jimmy Butler, Washington’s John Wall and Golden State’s Andrew Bogut on the second team.
