Up to this point, the San Antonio Spurs have had a pretty easy go of it. The latter part of 2015 appeared to be somewhat of a grace period before the wrath of the NBA was unleashed upon them. With the lowest strength of schedule in the NBA, the Spurs have been able to hold tight to their spot behind the Golden State Warriors. The 30-6 record has been more about the Spurs fine-tuning and less about the actual competition they’ve faced. Basically, they’ve been playing against themselves for the first few months of the season. But 2016 brings new challenges to forefront; test time if you will for the squad who is usually unbothered by any type of perceived pressure.
