Just a quick bit of housekeeping after the news that Manu Ginobili would be out for at least a couple of games.
With Jonathon Simmons getting his second call-up from the Austin Spurs and Manu out, we'll hopefully get to see Simmons get some extended playing time. From what I've seen of his play, I'd love to see him get a legit shot in actual play to crack the rotation.
Simmons posted 17 points (6-9 FG, 5-5 FT), 4 rebounds and 4 assists vs. Grand Rapids on Nov. 17 in his only appearance with Austin this season.
