SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Teammates come and go during the course of a long career like the one Manu Ginobili has enjoyed, but the Spurs guard made it clear Marco Belinelli was no ordinary teammate.
“We had a great time,” Ginobili said at shootaround in preparation for Monday night’s game with the Kings. “We had a great chemistry playing together. I’ve known him since we were 15, 16. We were on the court a lot together and we were looking for each other and what not. We enjoyed playing together.”
Belinelli signed with Sacramento in free agency in July after two seasons with the Spurs.
