SAN ANTONIO – Manu Ginobili suggested Wednesday night that the head coach of the Argentine National Team jumped the gun when he expressed optimism that the Spurs guard would play at the 2016 Olympics in Rio.
“To me, he’s going to play in Rio,” Sergio Hernandez told TyC Sports. “I know he’s going to get angry when he watches this, but he knows how I am.”
Told of the story after the Spurs’ 114-95 win over the Wizards at the AT&T Center, Ginobili said, “Trust me, you would have known if I had would have made the decision.
