DALLAS – Spurs guard Manu Ginobili should be ready to get back on the court to begin basketball activity in about a month, a Los Angeles-based urological surgeon said Friday.
S. Adam Ramin of Urology Cancer Specialists said most patients recovering from testicular surgery usually require a recovery period lasting three to six weeks. But Ramin believes a pro athlete like Ginobili should be back after about a month.
“He should have full recovery,” Ramin said in a phone interview. “Some athletes can come back two weeks after surgery, but it depends on how bad (the injury) was and how much swelling there is after surgery.
