Mary Emerson has seen her community undergo plenty of change since she moved to the East Side of San Antonio in 1956. There have been ups and downs, but she hasn’t been as excited for her community as she is today.
Part of the revitalization of the East Side is the renovation of the AT&T Center, which reopened last week after five months of work and $110 million of upgrades for the Bexar County owned arena.
Emerson and other East Side community leaders were there on Friday, joining Bexar County and Spurs Sports & Entertainment for an AT&T Center re-dedication ceremony.
