Tim Duncan did not participate in the Spurs’ shootaround this morning. He was not alone.
“I don’t think I did either,” forward David West said.
The Spurs forewent formal on-court work in preparation for tonight’s game against Houston, instead focusing on a one-hour film session based off Monday’s 30-point loss at Golden State.
As such, Duncan wasn’t able to do much to test the sore right knee that kept him out of that defeat in Oakland, and has also ruled the Spurs 39-year-old captain against the Rockets.
Duncan — who has appeared in one game in the past 10 days — was present at the team’s film session this morning, and could later be spotted working up a sweat in the back weight room.
