DeMar DeRozan and Derrick White have been named finalists for the U.S. Olympic Men’s Basketball Team.
White was part of the underachieving United States National Team that placed seventh at the 2019 FIBA World Cup, and the Spurs combo guard averaged 5.9 points and 2.5 assists per game.
DeRozan won a gold medal with Team USA at both the 2014 FIBA World Cup and the 2016 Summer Olympics, and the four-time All-Star played an integral role as the first guard off the bench.
Although LaMarcus Aldridge was also among the 57 finalists named on Thursday morning, his time with the San Antonio Spurs has come to an end as the parties have mutually agreed to part ways.
