In case you missed last night’s game, the Spurs dropped their first at-home contest to the Brooklyn Nets since 2002. But they didn’t go down without a fight. Down by ten with 2 minutes left, they went in a 10-0 run to send the game into overtime, and it was made possible by Dejounte Murray’s buzzer-beater:
Forgetting for a moment that James Harden could have been called for a foul on Murray and the game could have hinged on free throws, Murray regained his composure and knocked down a wacky shot.
In addition to Dejounte’s theatrics, he hit a Spurs milestone.
