Veteran forward David West reportedly reached an agreement with the San Antonio Spurs on Monday, according to David Aldridge of NBA.com, further bolstering the team's status as a legitimate title contender.
Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports reported the one-year deal was for the veteran's minimum, worth $1.4 million.
West watched his role in Indiana decline over the past few years, having averaged just 11.7 points last season after checking in at 17.1 points per game during the 2012-13 campaign. The power forward also saw his minutes and usage on the offensive end drop during that timeframe.
