All 29 NBA arenas will use the same shot clock and timing system made by Tissot for the 2016-17 season, marking the first time that all arenas will have the same units.
Spurs’ point guard Tony Parker, who has been working with Tissot for the last six years, said having consistency and great visibility across the shot clocks is very important to players.
“To have the same clock every where, I think it can only help,” Parker said.
The new shot clocks have been modernized and improved. They don’t have any cables and are made with LED glass.
