The San Antonio Spurs will not be part of Tuesday’s 2018 NBA Draft Lottery show. In fact, they have placed out of it in every season since 1996-97, when Tim Duncan went No. 1 overall and reshaped the course of the franchise.
The Silver and Black own the No. 18 pick in the first round of the draft, their highest spot, trade or not, since 2011, when they traded up to select Kawhi Leonard from San Diego State.
Which teams are above the Spurs, though? How likely of a chance do they have at the No. 1 overall pick and the potential next Duncan?
