The NBA offseason remains in full swing, but the San Antonio Spurs, and the other 29 teams, are not far away from the start of the 2018-19 season. This will be the latest year that everyone tries to fend off the Golden State Warriors, who won the 2018 NBA Finals and three of the past four championships. San Antonio had its chance in the 2016-17 season, but fell short when an injury to Kawhi Leonard slowed them down and resulted in a 4-0 sweep by Golden State.
As of July 29, the 2018-19 schedule is not yet known, but the fans, players, coaches and organization may not have long until they find out, given the timetable of the 2017-18 release.
