The San Antonio Spurs will be without both Marco Belinelli and Tiago Splitter for Monday's matchup of Western Conference title favorites against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Here's the Spurs' official injury, courtesy of Pounding the Rock's Chris Itz:
Marco Belinelli (mild strain, right groin), Patty Mills (right shoulder surgery) and Tiago Splitter (tightness, right calf) are listed as out for Monday's game in Los Angeles vs. the Clippers.
Splitter reportedly saw a back specialist on Monday to get to the bottom of a nerve problem that has been manifesting itself in his right calf. Belinelli is still recoving from a groin strain that he suffered against the Atlanta Hawks.
As Itz puts it, "it's going to be a tough West Coast trip this week with DeAndre Jordan, Blake Griffin, Andrew Bogut, Jordan Hill and DeMarcus Cousins coming up in the next four games."
Without Splitter's defense, the Spurs will have to scramble to put together a defensive front to counteract those talented big men.
