Charlotte Hornets guard PJ Hairston become an internet sensation on Wednesday night for his flop against the San Antonio Spurs. The NBA, however, didn't find his acting job all too amusing.
Per Todd Dybas of the Washington Times, Hairston was fined $5,000 by the league under the league's anti-flopping policy:

The flop occurred in the fourth quarter of the Spurs' 98-93, with Hairston dramatically flying to the ground after minimal contact with Spurs guard Tony Parker. According to the Charlotte Hornets' official Twitter, this is Hairston's second violation of the league's anti-flopping rules this season:
