MORAGA, Calif. — The Saint Mary's men's and women's Cross County programs will kick-off their new season at the University of San Fransisco Invitational at the Golden Gate Park on Saturday.
The Gaels have had a shorter than usual break from cross country after their previous season was pushed back until February 2021. It was a brief season, that saw the Gaels dominate at the Jessup Invitational where Saint Mary's took first place in both the men's and women's race, took individual titles in both and set a course record on the women's side. Rayna Stanziano lead the way for the Gaels, setting the record at Johnson-Springview Park and she returns this year looking for more success in her junior year.
