MORAGA, Calif. — Saint Mary's (2-2) went down to the wire with UC Davis on Saturday but pulled out the victory thanks to a three-set tiebreaker win by Danielle McIntyre in singles play.
Saint Mary's claimed the doubles point to kick off the match by getting wins on courts 1 and 3. Jocelyn Massey and Aubane Ville cruised to a 6-0 decision as the Gaels' No. 3 tandem before Mariia Kozyreva and McIntyre sealed the point on court 1 with a close 6-4 win.
