STANFORD, Calif. - The Saint Mary's women's tennis team drove down to Palo Alto for a midweek matchup with 38th ranked Stanford for one of their final dual matches before conference play starts later in March. The Cardinal showcased their talent with a 7-0 match victory, claiming the doubles point and winning all six of their singles matches.
For the Gaels, Juliette Daries fell in straight sets (6-4 6-2) but had several deuce games that just didn't go her way. Madison Weekley was the lone Gael to take her singles match to three sets before falling 10-5 on the super tiebreaker.
