MORAGA, Calif. - Junior Madison Weekley kicked off the spring season in style as she was named this season's first WCC Singles Player of the Week after her undefeated performance at the Cal Winter Invite. Weekley becomes the program's first weekly award winner since 2023 when Saint Mary's had Jordan Harris and Lene Mari Hovda take home Doubles Team of the Week. She also became the first singles player to win the award since Mariia Kozyreva did so in 2022.
Weekley was perfect on her opening weekend, going 3-0 in singles play and also winning her lone doubles match with teammate Juliette Daries.
