TULSA, Okla. — Mariia Kozyreva wrapped up play at the ITA All-American Championships on Tuesday by picking up a win over a ranked opponent in singles action.
After dropping her match yesterday, No. 68 Kozyreva squared off with No. 58 Jayci Goldsmith from Texas A&M. Saint Mary's junior battled hard through close sets and eventually won, 7-6, 6-4.
Kozyreva was slated to play another match against a competitor from Iowa State but her opponent withdrew before the match.
