MORAGA, Calif. — The Gaels (5-3) picked up a big win over Oregon (6-5) on Friday to get their weekend started on the right foot.
Oregon began the day by claiming the doubles point. The Ducks won on courts 3 and court 1, respectively, with the second match going unfinished. Chloe Goyette and Jordan Harris were tied 4-4 before the match was called.
The Gaels bounced back in singles play with two quick straight set wins. Aubane Ville defeated Madisen Olsen 6-3, 6-2 before Lene Mari Hovda took down Uxia Martinez Moral 6-0, 6-3.
