MORAGA, Calif. — Saint Mary's (1-2) picked up their first win of the season in dominant fashion on Friday as they took down Sacramento State, 7-0.
The Gaels earned the doubles point with two quick wins on courts 2 and 3. Jocelyn Massey and Aubane Ville got the ball rolling for SMC with a 6-2 win in the No. 3 doubles slot and it didn't take much longer for the tandem of Mariia Kozyreva and Gabriela Tevez to win 6-3 as the team's No. 2 tandem.
Saint Mary's also swept the Hornets (0-3) in singles action and took five of the six matches in straight sets.
