MORAGA, Calif. — The Saint Mary’s women’s tennis team will finally play its first home matches of the spring this weekend when it hosts West Coast Conference foes San Francisco and Santa Clara on Friday and Saturday at the Tim Korth Tennis Complex.
The Gaels (4-7, 1-0 WCC) host USF (1-9, 0-2 WCC) at 1:30 p.m. Friday. They then face No. 75 Santa Clara (6-5, 0-1 WCC) at 11 a.m. Saturday. Neither opponent boasts any nationally ranked singles players or doubles teams. The Gaels have not played an official home match since the final day of the Saint Mary’s Fall Invitational in October.
