MORAGA, Calif. — Saint Mary's women's tennis (1-7) will remain close to the Bay Area as they will travel to Davis for a match against the Aggies on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
ABOUT THE GAELS
The Gaels faced off against No. 32 USC last weekend and fell 4-0 in Los Angeles. In singles action, Mariia Kozyreva led her opponent 6-2, 5-4 in the first two sets but the match ultimately went unfinished. Two other contests were suspended during the matchup while three other Gaels were overcome by their opposition. On doubles courts, USC earned two of the doubles points with the third match going unfinished after Kozyreva and Hind Abdelouahid put up a hard fight.
