The Bulldogs won some crucial points in the doubles matches en route to the 1-0 lead. Paired as the top doubles team, Kareena Manji and Jana McCord delivered the team’s lone victory in doubles action. The duo took advantage of early poor services from GU, and capitalized in key situations for the 6-4 win.
Clementine Clement and Jacqueline Pelletier nearly pulled through with a win on court 3, but fell, 6-4.
