SAN FRANCISCO — Saint Mary’s women’s tennis (7-6, 2-1 WCC) bounced back in strong fashion, sweeping San Francisco for the 4-0 win Friday afternoon at the Olympic Club.
The Gaels got off the right foot, defeating the Dons (3-12, 0-3 WCC) in doubles action. Jana McCord and Kareena Manji collected their sixth win together on court 2, defeating Borjeson and Treyes of USF, 6-2.
Jacqueline Pelletier and Clementine Clement tag teamed for the clinch on court 3. The duo won in a one-sided match, 6-1 to give the Gaels the 1-0 advantage heading into singles.
