SEATTLE — The No. 45 Saint Mary’s women’s tennis team earned a comeback victory Saturday thanks to four wins in singles competition, defeating San Diego State 4-3 at the Nordstrom Tennis Center on the campus of the University of Washington.
Though the Gaels’ (2-4) No. 1 doubles team of Jana McCord and Jamie Pawid earned a 6-3 win over San Diego State’s (2-4) Kennedy Davis and Tami Nguyen, it was the Aztecs who would take the doubles point and an early 1-0 match lead with wins at No. 2 and No. 3.
