SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - For the first time in her collegiate career, Tessa Salvestrin has earned the West Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week award thanks to her hat trick against Tennessee Tech and an assist in their matchup against Vanderbilt.
Salvestrin started off the week with a header in the 16th minute against TTU after teammate recovered a loose ball and made a cross into the box. After recovering a Golden Eagles turnover, Savannah Schwarze gave a short pass to Salvetti, allowing Salvetti to launch the ball into the box for Salvestrin to score once again on a beautiful first time touch.
