MORAGA, Calif. - Taylor Poland has been named to the College Soccer News Women's National Team of the Week for her 10 saves against Gonzaga this past Saturday.
The college soccer news team of the week recognizes players who played a key role in the success their team had during the week.
Poland helped anchor the Gaels to a shutout against the Zags in a 1-0 win. The Bulldogs averaged 3.38 goals per game to lead the nation coming into the match and were receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches Top-25 poll.
