ANAHEIM, Calif. - Saint Mary's' Makena Carr was selected 43rd overall pick of the 2024 NWSL Draft to Seattle Reign FC.
Carr joined SMC this past season, helping the Gaels to a 10-5-3 season. She appeared and started in 18 games, where she was a huge contributor to the Gaels back line. The Senior picked up her first point, an assist, in Saint Mary's 1-0 win over Gonzaga. In her last game as a Gael, she put up the game winning goal against LMU and an assist, giving her four points to finish the season.
