MORAGA, Calif. – The Saint Mary's Women's Soccer Team (7-1-2, 1-0) scored twice in the second half of their WCC opener for a 2-0 win over the University of San Francisco (4-3-3, 0-1) at Saint Mary's Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
THE SCORERS
The Gaels got goals from AnnaMaria DiGeronimo and Emily Jensen in the 70th and 75th minutes respectively to get the victory in the conference opener.
Saint Mary's came out firing early, including from long-distance to try and test the Dons reigning Defensive Player of the Week in the West Coast Conference in keeper Molly Eby.
