MORAGA, Calif. - On the morning of the Gaels first exhibition game against Cal, the 2024 WCC Preseason Poll was released with Saint Mary's being picked 5th in a tie with conference rival Gonzaga at 52 points. Along with the preseason poll was a list of 12 student-athletes named to the conference Preseason Team and our very own Briana Salvetti earned the honor for the Gaels after leading the team with 10 goals and 6 assists in 2023. As a result, she was named to the All-WCC Second Team and will embark on her third season after starting her SMC career as a true freshman in 2022.
