POCATELLO, Idaho — The Gaels (3-4) fought back on Friday from being one goal down but ultimately fell to Idaho State, 2-1, in overtime.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Bengals (1-5-1) scored the golden goal during the ninth minute of overtime on a penalty kick to take the match. After the penalty was awarded, Karlin Wurlitzer rocketed a perfectly placed shot to the left upper 90 for the game-winner.
Jaylen Crim scored her team-leading fourth goal of the season for Saint Mary's in the loss. Off a corner kick, Jordyn Cunningham took a shot that ended up at the feet of Crim who put her shot over the head of the Bengal keeper for the equalizer in the 51st minute.
