CHICAGO — Saint Mary’s women’s soccer player Hannah Diaz will now represent her country on the U-23 U.S. Women’s National Team this spring, the United States Soccer Federation announced today.
Diaz will be one of 20 players on the roster that will compete in Orlando, Florida come April 2-8.
The all-around player for the Gaels had another spectacular campaign, leading SMC with seven goals and three assists. Diaz is now second all-time in program history in goals scored (17) and tied for fourth in assists (9).
“We are excited for Hannah,” said Saint Mary’s head coach Travis Clarke.
