SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Briana Salvetti has been named the West Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week for her three goals and one assist against No. 15 Washington State and Eastern Washington.
On Thursday night, Salvetti helped the Gaels defeat the Washington State Cougars, the No. 15 ranked team in the country, 1-0 for their first loss of the season. The Gaels' leading scorer shined by giving them their only goal of the game by pressuring the keeper and hitting the back of the net in just the third minute of the game.
