SAN BRUNO, Calif. — Saint Mary’s women’s basketball players Devon Brookshire and Stella Beck were named Tuesday to the 2016-17 West Coast Conference All-Academic team while Carly Turner received honorable mention accolades.
Brookshire touts a perfect 4.00 cumulative Grade Point Average in her kinesiology graduate program and holds the highest GPA of the 10 players featured on the WCC All-Academic team. This is her second year in a row garnering these honors. Brookshire started the first three games of the season but has since come off the bench contributing as a key backup.
