MORAGA, Calif. — Another important week lies ahead for the Saint Mary’s women’s basketball team as the West Coast Conference season winds down and teams jockey for positioning in the WCC Tournament. The Gaels wrap up their current road trip Thursday at Loyola Marymount before hosting co-second place BYU on Saturday in their annual Pink Game.
The Gaels (15-10, 10-4 WCC) face the Lions (11-14, 6-8 WCC) in a rare weekday day game at noon Thursday. Then a battle for the No. 2 seed in the WCC Tournament takes place at 1 p.m. Saturday between BYU and Saint Mary’s at McKeon Pavilion.
