Ahead of the 2018-19 season, the Saint Mary's women's basketball team hosted their first annual tip-off dinner on Oct. 6. The tip-off dinner was designed to meet the Gaels in order to learn more about the team and get a preview for the upcoming season.
There were over 200 RSVPs for the event including the team's 15 players and six staff members. The evening featured a cocktail hour followed by dinner with a brief introduction of the team and staff. The team sold prize drawing tickets throughout the night for a chance to win 1 of 14 themed prize baskets that were created by each player, including one from each of the players' hometowns.
